The Client Stages of Research
If you are like many of our clients, you know the importance of reviews. And, you know how they have become, in essence, the marketing research for most future consumers. Reviews drive sales. Period.
In a pandemic-affected economy, what we are seeing changes daily. However, we are consistently facing a lack of availability for help and customer support/tech support across the terrain. Subsequently, if you relied on Google reviews, shift your focus to other areas to garner this useful feedback, such as Facebook. I would avoid Yelp!, as I personally think they are terribly unreliable. They have become less user-friendly in an effort to pander to profit, for instance.
Here is a quick Google statement to let you know what is going on (or NOT going on) at Google, and a reinforcement to step up your results via other forums. In a nutshell, the capability to reply to existing reviews is back. However, new users leaving feedback will be returning to fuctionality “soon.” Additionally, your past patron reviews that never populated will slowly begin populating.

Fingers crossed. Hope you all are doing well and are healthy. As a result of Covid-19, your online presence is more important than ever. Therefore, it seems counterproductive to have so many hindrances to optimization of your listing. If you need help, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Interesting, I haven’t seen google reviews driving sales for my customers, nor yelp, converting to sales of anything outside of food and beverage.
Some services will utilize reviews as a testimonial type post socially. Reviews tend to be part of a research pattern but not a call to action or conversion to sale.
We are still seeing the best results from activation events and community involvement by businesses as the highest return for services.

Indeed Grimey, certainly, I have never in the last 50 years seen a single positive broadcast, article or comment about Israel from the BBC and equally I have never seen a negative one from the BBC about the new kids on the block, invented in July 1964 the Palestinians. Return on TWINO is quite stable. Year ago it was ~12.5% now when they introduced loans from Russia it will be ~13%. With TWINO things are very stable. Stable return, no big up but also no down. That is why I not show TWINO in table. Krista Field Valli
