If you are like many of our clients, you know the importance of reviews. And, you know how they have become, in essence, the marketing research for most future consumers. Reviews drive sales. Period.
In a pandemic-affected economy, what we are seeing changes daily. However, we are consistently facing a lack of availability for help and customer support/tech support across the terrain. Subsequently, if you relied on Google reviews, shift your focus to other areas to garner this useful feedback, such as Facebook. I would avoid Yelp!, as I personally think they are terribly unreliable. They have become less user-friendly in an effort to pander to profit, for instance.
Here is a quick Google statement to let you know what is going on (or NOT going on) at Google, and a reinforcement to step up your results via other forums. In a nutshell, the capability to reply to existing reviews is back. However, new users leaving feedback will be returning to fuctionality “soon.” Additionally, your past patron reviews that never populated will slowly begin populating.
